5 Tenses we frequently use, that is...

    1.Simple Present Tense
Digunakan untuk menyatakan habitual action atau rutinitas dan fakta-fakta umum.
Rumus:
(+) S+V1(s/es)
(-) S+do/does+not+V1
(?) Do/Does+S+V1?

Example:
(+) They open the door
(-) They dont open the door
(?) Do they open the door ?


2.Simple Past Tense
Digunakan untuk menyatakan kalimat yang terjadi dimasa lampau.

Rumus:
(+) S+V2
(-) S+did+not+V1
(?) Did+S+V1?

Example:
(+) She tried her best
(-) She didn’t try her best
(?) Did she try her best ?


3.Present/Past Continuos Tense
Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang berlangsung (Present)
Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang berlangsung di masa lampau (Past)
Rumus :
(+) S+be+Ving
(-) S+be+not+Ving
(?) Be+S+Ving

Example:
(+)She is brushing the bathroom floor.
(-)She is not brushing the bathroom floor.
(?) Is she brushing the bathroom floor ?

4.Simple Future Tense

Digunakan untuk mengekspresikan kejadian yang belum terjadi, masih di rencanakan , atau kejadian di masa yang akan datang.
Rumus: 
(+) S+will+V1
(-) S+will+not+V1
(?) Will+S+V1

Example:
(+) Fany will go to market the market next week
(-) Fany will not go to market next week
(?) Will Fany go to market next week?

5.Present Perfect Tense
Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sudah terjadi dan hasilnya masih terasa atau terlihat.

Rumus:
(+) S+has/have+V3
(-) S+has/have+not+V3
(?) Has/Have+S+V3

Example:
(+) Rahmina has studied four traditional languages.
(-) Rahmina has not studied four traditional languages.
(?) Has Rahmina studied four traditional languages?
